More details from IOH about setting up outside the fence:

Due to the size of our pool and deck, ALL families are asked to set-up OUTSIDE the pool fence. You can see the meet through the fence, so no worries about feeling completely closed off! NO families or swimmers from either team are permitted to set-up within the deck area. We would like to offer you all parking at the IOH parking lot, and we have asked our families to park at neighboring churches and across the street. We also would like to offer you all seating/set-up in the grassy area closest to the pool, between the parking lot and pool. This area is absolutely the best for viewing, no question! Parents and spectators should absolutely enter the pool deck when their child is swimming! Please enjoy your swimmer(s)! Then kindly exit the deck when your child is not swimming. If everyone follows this rule, everyone can actually SEE their child swim, and be close to them while swimming. It also allows coaches to watch and support the meet, as well as timers, runners, and bullpen to move efficiently. We need a smooth-running meet, and this is a HUGE element that makes that happen. We will have plenty of speakers and a meet commentator, so everyone will be able to hear what is happening, so there is less confusion. We will guide every step of the way. Even outside the deck, you will be able to clearly hear. Please do share this with your parents. We do not want any hurt feelings when they are asked to set-up outside. Set up outside, come inside to watch your child(ren) swim! It is THAT easy. We have a lot of kids under the age of 12 swimming this meet, so we need good flow on the deck! Please bring whatever you want to be comfortable at the meet: chairs, blankets, etc.!
