Dear Mayfair Marlins Families,

We're excited for our first home meet of the season on Tuesday, May 27 at the Chatham County Aquatic Center! We’ll be facing off against the Savannah Golf Club Stingrays.

Meet Details:

• Warm-ups: 5:00 PM
• Meet Start: 6:00 PM
• Once we finalize warm-up times for each team, we’ll send more details your way!

ENTRIES:

• Head to Mayfair Swim Meets to declare your swimmer.
• To declare your swimmer, select the green "Meet Entry" button for the May 27 meet on our Swimtopia site (You will need to be logged into to declare).
• Select "attending" or "not attending". If your swimmer would like to attend but not swim relays, be sure to mark that option as well.
• Then, choose 2 individual events for your swimmer (newer swimmers can choose freestyle only or freestyle/back).
• All swimmers must be able to swim at least 25 yards without stopping to participate.
• Declare by 10:00 PM on Saturday. Heat sheets will be ready by Monday along with more meet info.

RELAYS:

• The first three weeks feature freestyle relays—and we’d love for all swimmers to be part of them!
• Please let us know if your swimmer would like to join a relay when declaring.
• New to meets? Don’t worry! We’ll guide first-timers on what to do.

VOLUNTEERS:

• We need 6 timers and possibly more help around the meet.
• We ask that each family volunteers for at least two meets this season.
• Volunteers can also help in the bull pen, which helps our coaches ensure swimmers don’t miss their events.
• More volunteer opportunities will be available for the June 3rd Yacht Club Meet and June 24th Wilmington Park Meet.

TEAM SHIRTS:

• Your swimmer will receive their shirt when checking in for the meet on Tuesday, May 27.

CAPS:

• Unfortunately, our caps have been delayed due to tariffs but are confirmed to be on their way as of yesterday.
• If you have a cap from a previous year, please wear it for this meet. We'll distribute new caps as soon as they arrive!
